Rope Access or Scaffolding
This was a relatively simple task on these residential flats. The defective render throughout the whole building had
to be extracted and replaced with new render. If the task was under taken by the use of scaffolding as you can see from the box below the task would have taken at least
108 hours.
But how was the use of rope access beneficial to the residents?
The use of rope access didn't compromise the security
of the building and residents still had full access to all doors and windows throughout. Rope access also has
the added advantage of no damage being done to
lawns and gardens. The timescale for completing the
task was 35% quicker than it would have been with
scaffolding and it saved them money!
